Ni Hao Kailan Cake

Everything about this cake is just screaming cute!
Everything is edible of course! Even Ni Hao is made of marshmallow fondant
My favorite is the cherry blossom tree, it;s really the highlight of the cake
It was hard for me to position the character because I can't decide which one should be front

This was a promo cake I made for my Aunt's grand daughter. She has been a very helful dear friend to my Mom, so i wanted to return the favor and do something nice in my arm's reach.
More elements were supposed to be added but this was actually a last minute change
Originally, they wanted a Hello Kitty cake but the night before the parents had a change of heart, so I had to come up with whatever I had, but I'm very happy it turned out even better than I imagined.

Of course cake pops makes anything look better!
I didn't have time to mold cake pops in character shapes that goes with the theme
but these plain but colorful pops makes up for it

Hello Kitty Cake

Who doesn't love Hello Kitty?
This is probably one character who will never outgrow it's cuteness

Very girly, Very detailed
The flowers, the colors and the quilting techinique
Everything is edible as usual

Hello Kitty Marshmallow topper was store-bought -- I usually mold them myself with fondant but why bother if theres something that tastes even better than fondant. Although I make my fondants with marshmallows too, it still has a different taste because it's mixed in with loadful amounts powdered sugar.

Cupcakes to match the cake were also part of the order
I didn't just want to make a dozen with all Hello Kitty faces -- that would be common and boring
so to make it even more interesting but still blend with the cake design, i made an assortment of everything Hello Kitty including the bows and flower and initials

And this is how they come together
Cute isn't it? Any girl, any age would love to have a cake likle this!

Mickey Mouse Themed Cake

This was the first cake order I made
After I made my daughter Adysen's birthday cake last month, my friend Nadia was really impressed and trusted me to create something awesome for her son's 2nd birthday.
Mickey Mouse is a really fun theme, I especially loved the Mickey Mouse hat which is also a cake that I carved to shape.
Even the base stand was very Mickey! Everything just went perfect together.

Perfect way to fool these kids with sweet treats!
Here's my niece Iayanah & my daughter Alayna posing with their pops..

My beautiful daughter wearing the first ever tutu skirt made by yours truly
She's showcasing my creative crafting, from the tutu skirt to the pretty hair clip and the ice cream cake pop!
This was the day I started getting my hands on creating hair clip bows, tutus and other cute stuff!
